Every Friday from 5-6PM you can find our house sommelier, MJ Hecox, in the stacks for Sommelier Office Hours where MJ is available to answer any wine related questions you may have, complete with a different free sample each week!
Sommelier Office Hours is a chance for customers to ask questions about the wines on the shelf or have a trained sommelier pick out the best option. Every Friday, our expert sommelier is able to answer almost any question about the wide array of global wines at Leopold’s, complete with opportunities to taste wines and learn in a more laid-back setting.
wine school
Twice a month amongst the bookshelves, we host Wine School at leopold’s to teach folks about seasonal wine trends and which wines we have available in our store.
Each wine school has a different theme to explore and learn about all varietals of wine, complete with 5 generous pours of each wine. for an hour each session, come learn more about the world of wine with us led by our lovely in-house sommelier, mj hecox, international wine mba, mscii!
we recommend reserving tickets in advance, let us know on arrival if you prefer seated accommodations.
